Director of Enrollment Services, St. Xavier High School, 2005-present. Oversee Office of Admissions; Retention Program; diversity initiatives; services for students with special needs; manage Federal funds; organize school data; facilitate completion of student surveys; lead Instructional Coaches; co-ordinate Professional Development programs; lead mentoring programs for new faculty; co-lead 1-4 year formation program; develop and maintain safety and security policies and procedures; manage St. Xavier family conference programs; maintain Family Resource Guide.

Group Leader, American Lung Association, 1996. Collaborated with American Lung Association faculty and community educators to develop smoking cessation program for adolescents; facilitated smoking cessation program with high school students.

Participated in divorce group process training; co-facilitated school and community-based divorce groups (i.e., elementary through high school level).

Group Leader, Fernside: A Center for Grieving Children, 1997.  Participated in bereavement group training; co-facilitated community-based bereavement groups for adolescents.

Group Leader, Greater Cincinnati Council on Alcoholism, 1994-95.  Participated in children of alcoholics group training; co-facilitated school-based children of alcoholics group with elementary-aged students.

Teaching

Instructor, Psychology and Student Portfolio, College of Mortuary Science, 1999-Present.  Instruct mortuary science students on psychological concepts, as well as assist students in developing professional portfolios.   

Instructor, Student Support Services, University of Cincinnati, 1996-1999.  Instruct 5th year teacher interns (Elementary and Secondary Level) on collaborative problem-solving process within lecture and small group format.  Supervise group facilitators (School Psychology Interns, School Psychology Practicum Students) regarding teaching/information sharing techniques and collaboration and progress-monitoring strategies.

Research

Research Experiences, 2000-2002. Designed and collected data regarding teacher intern and mentor teacher beliefs and practice regarding collaborative problem solving.

Research Experiences, 1991‑92. Assisted in the development of a preschool observation form; examined the reliability/validity of curriculum‑based measurement probes for placement decision‑making.

Research Experience, 1989‑90. Collected data for a doctoral study examining the factors affecting the self‑esteem of single mothers.
